Account Deletion Guide
To delete your account from Checkin, please follow the instructions below.
⚠️ Warning: Deleting your account permanently removes all your data and cannot be undone.
Information that will be deleted
- Profile information (name, email, profile picture)
- Membership in every group you have joined
- Your own attendance records
- App settings and personalization information
🚨 If you are a group host (administrator):
All groups you manage and the attendance records of every member in those groups will also be permanently deleted. Before deleting your account, transfer the groups to another person or delete the groups first.

- Information and attendance records of every member in those groups
- Check-in location settings (GPS-based attendance)
- Check-in time settings
- Custom attendance status settings
- Group statistics data
How to Delete Your Account

Launch the app and sign in
Open the Checkin app and sign in with the account you want to delete.

Go to the More tab
Select the 'More' tab from the bottom navigation.

Open the Settings menu
Select the 'Settings' menu.

Choose Account Management
Select the 'Account Management' menu.

Request account deletion
Tap the 'Delete Account' button and follow the prompts to complete the process.
💡 Note: If you are a group host (administrator), you must transfer the host role to another member or delete the group before deleting your account.
Things to confirm before deleting your account
- If you are a group host: All data of the groups you manage will be deleted, so be sure to notify your group members in advance.
- Important attendance records: Back up any records you need by taking screenshots or exporting to a spreadsheet first.
- Group transfer: If you'd like to keep the group running, transfer the host role to another member before deleting your account.
- Re-registration limit: You cannot re-register with the same email within 30 days after deletion.
Data Processing Policy
Upon an account deletion request:
- Regular member: your personal information and attendance records are deleted immediately.
- Group host: your personal information is deleted immediately along with every group you managed and the attendance records of every member in those groups.
- Location information: location data collected during GPS-based check-in is already deleted at the moment of check-in completion and is not stored.
- No recovery: deleted data cannot be recovered, and no backups are kept.
